How to backup and restore Passwords in Firefox

It’s quite easy to backup and restore passwords in Firefox. I use windows xp on my desktop and windows 7 on my laptop. (Here whatever I’m discussing is what I have done on windows xp not on windows 7), and you just need an Add on for this. If you want to backup your profile along with the passwords, bookmarks etc. then you have to go the Add on page and look for Password exporter there, where you can click the Options button to bring up the Import/Export Passwords dialog.

From there you can easily import or export your passwords using this dialog and you can also choose to encrypt them if you want to. You can get them into CSV (excel) format and XML as well. But be careful as passwords can be misused.

If still, you can’t work it out, don’t hesitate to contact, call 1800 602 586, toll free number. We will help you with your entire technical problems, whether it’s your computer problem, digital camera, or mp3 player.
